My greatest passions in life are learning and people. My goal is to learn something new every day, from reading, the people around me, and the experiences I have been given. I strive to be a positive force for those around me.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and early childhood education. For over a decade, I taught at the university’s early learning center, where I worked with families, college students, and young children.

During that time, I got involved with the open-source community through my husband. I began assisting with technical support for his freelance clients and volunteering at community events. In 2021, I moved out of education and into the open-source community full-time.

I live in the Twin Cities Metro Area with my husband, MikeDemo, and our dog, B’Elanna. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, embroidery, and crocheting. Mike and I are also avid Disney Fans and love to travel.
